Farm Animal Cookies

Sink your teeth into these sweet cookies covered with rolled fondant.

Bake and cool animal cookies. Set aside. Color fondant with food coloring. Place fondant on a silicone mat or surface dusted with powdered sugar (make sure surface is very clean). Roll fondant between perfection strips or a rolling pin with rings. Cut out fondant piece with the same cookie cutter used in baking. Spread buttercream icing or piping gel on the baked and cooled cookie and attach cut-out piece. Immediately sculpt any details onto the fondant. Lamb was texturized using a large, round cake decorating tip, such as a #10. Rooster was texturized using a small, round cake decorating tip such as a #3. Roll out additional fondant to accent cookies.
