Bake and cool cookies. Thin royal icing to run sugar consistency. With run sugar, outline and fill each cookie. Allow icing to set. Pipe details on each cookie with run sugar using a #0 tip or with a very fine hole cut from a parchment cone. Allow to set completely and embellish details by painting with luster dust.
