- assortment of ornament cookie cutters
- run sugar icing
- tip #1 and #5
- pastry bag or parchment cones with a hole cut
- food coloring
- gold luster dust

Roll dough and cut out shapes. If desired, use small round decorating tip #5 to cut hole in top of ornament. Bake and cool cookies. With run sugar, outline and fill one color section at a time. Allow to set and continue to pipe adjoining color sections. Pipe details on each cookie with run sugar using a #1 tip or with a very fine hole cut from a parchment cone. Allow to set up. Use a small paintbrush to paint gold luster dust mixed with lemon oil on raised decorations and hook part of ornament. Allow to dry and tie with ribbon if desired.
