Using cookie cutter, cut red and blue fondant; then trim the roof off of each house. Using the cookie cutter, cut black fondant pieces trimming the house from the roof. Attach the colored house pieces and the black roof pieces to each cookie using piping gel. Center a molded dog face over door way of each cookie and attach with piping gel. Take a white bone and attach it with piping gel just under the dog’s mouth on each cookie. Using white fondant, cut 1 1/2″ x 1/2″ pieces; then using the edible pens, write dogs name on piece. Attach the piece below the roof line with piping gel.

Place sucker sticks in cookies before baking. Roll fondant and brush lightly with water using pastry brush. Lay designer print on top of fondant. Cut flower shapes to match cookies using cutters. Attach fondant to cookie using piping gel. Color royal icing hot pink and outline edges of cookies and make a large dot for the flower centers.

Using cookie cutter as a pattern, trace cutter on the back side of prints and sugar sheet. Carefully cut shapes with sharp scissors. With the black food color pen, make smiley faces on yellow sugar circles. Ice cookies with buttercream; making icing as smooth as possible. Lay prints and sugar circles on damp buttercream; lightly press image on to cookie. Attach icing flowers to designer prints with a dot of buttercream icing.

 

Cupcake Cookies

Cupcake Cookies

Use the cupcake cutter to trace bottoms of cupcakes on the designer sheets. Roll fondant to desired thickness and cut cupcake bottoms with the cutter. Brush fondant piece with water and attach designer sheet. Carefully lay sheet on fondant piece then attach fondant piece to cookie with piping gel. Using a pastry bag fitted with large round tip and filled with white buttercream, pipe the top of the cupcake in a bag and forth motion. Place red round candy atop icing.

Using cookie cutter set, bake cookies. Divide icing and make colors. Outline cookies in black icing then fill-in with colors desired. Add details where necessary using icing or piping gel or molded fondant.

Barnyard Sugar Cookies

Use the 2 1/4″ cutter to cut the cake tatoos and set aside. Roll out fondant to desired thickness and use the 3″ cutter to cut out circles. Attach 3″ circles to cookies brushed with piping gel. Brush fondant circles lightly with water and center tattoo on top. Using a parchment bag filled with royal icing, detail the outer edge of the cookie with dots.

Use the same cutters used to bake the cookies to cut-out the fondant. Attach fondant to the cookies with piping gel.
Lamb – Use tip #10 to make indents in the fondant to resemble fluffy wool. Roll a tiny piece of black fondant for the nose and attach with piping gel. Draw an eye using the edible markers.
Chicken – Using the orange fondant, free-form a beak and feet; attach with piping gel. Take a small piece of red to make the cockscomb; attach with piping gel. Use the sharp knife to outline feathers on the back end of the chicken and to cut a side feather. Attach side feather with piping gel. Draw an eye using the edible markers.
Cow – Free-form black spots in different sizes to attach to cow with piping gel. Cut peach pieces for the udders and snout. Use the end of a paint brush to make the nostril holes. Take small amount of brown and pinch to make the cow’s horns and small amount of white to form the cow’s ears. Attach all pieces with piping gel.
Pig – Take a small piece of pink fondant and roll into a tiny rope for the squiggly tail; attach with piping gel. Draw an eye with edible markers.

Princess Party Cookies

Bake and cool cookies.  Fill parchment cone with black run sugar and pipe outlines and details on all cookies.  Allow to dry completely (a couple hours).  Thin run sugar with a small amount of water and mix other colors.  Fill parchment cones and fill in outlines.  Allow to dry completely and pipe additional run sugar dots and fine details.  Paint faces using a small paint brush and black food coloring.

Pirate ship: Roll out brown fondant and texture with wood grain texture mat.  Use ship cookie cutter to cut out fondant and then use knife to remove sails.  Roll thin rope of brown fondant and attach to center of ship using piping gel.  Roll out white and black fondant and use a knife to cut a sail out of each color.  Make a few small cuts into sides to make it look torn.  Attach to cookie and use black food marker to draw skull and crossbones.

Compass:Roll out light brown fondant, cut using small circle cutter and attach to cookie with piping gel.  Roll out white fondant and cut out using small circle cutter, then cut again inside circle with smaller cutter to leave narrow ring.  Attach ring to outer edge of cookie and use small knife to emboss lines.  Paint the outer  ring with silver luster dust.

Treasure chest:  Roll out brown fondant and texture part of it with wood grain texture mat.  Cut out a treasure chest of textured and not textured fondant.  Use the smooth part for the lid and the textured part for the bottom.  Using white fondant cut out narrow strips and small latch.  Attach to cookie with fondant.  Paint with gold luster dust.  Use fondant to make small gold coins or use small round sprinkles and paint with gold luster dust.  Attach several with piping gel.  Use orange fondant to hand mold starfish and silver fondant to hand mold anchor.

Flag:  Cut strip of brown fondant and use back of knife to create texture.  Attach to cookie and flatten small gray ball of fondant at top of post.  Roll out black fondant and use flag cutter to cut and then a knife to trim away excess.  Attach to cookie with piping gel.  Hand mold white skull and crossbones.

Pirate hat: Roll out black fondant and use hat cutter to cut.  Attach to cookie with piping gel.  Hand mold white skull and crossbones.

Gold coin:  Roll out white fondant and cut with circle cutter.  Attach to cookie with piping gel.  Use small knife and modelling tools to make design in coin.  Paint with gold luster dust.

Skull and crossbones:  Roll out white fondant.  Cut out two pieces with skull and crossbones cookie cutter.  Use one piece to trim away crossbones and attach to cookie.  Cut line in fondant to make one bone appear in front of the other.  Use second piece for skull and use a knife to trim away fondant and make jaw.  Use knife to emboss jaw and round piping tips to cut holes for nose and eyes.  Attach to cookie and fill eye cavities with black run sugar.  Roll out red fondant and use knife to cut bandana.  Attach to cookie and add small white fondant circles.

Treasure map: Use blanket cutter to make map cookie.  Roll out white fondant and cut with blanket cutter.  Texture edge with knife or modelling tools and attach to cookie.  Use brown petal dust to paint map and create dark (burnt) edges.  Use petal dust or food markers to draw details on map.

 

Peace Sign Cookies

Peace Sign Cookies

  • 3 1/2″ circle cutter
  • blue, pink, green, orange, purple candy coating
  • black,blue, pink, green, orange and purple fondant
  • piping gel
  • small daisy plunger cutter

Cut out cookies using 3 1/2″ round cutter. Bake according to recipe instructions and allow to cool. Melt all colors of candy coating in shallow bowls. Hold onto edges of cookie and dip front of cookie into candy coating, allow excess to drip off and then turn over so candy coated side is up. Repeat with all cookies and colors of candy coating. Allow candy coating to completely set. Roll out black rolled fondant and cut out 3 1/2″ circles, inside of circle use circle from peace cutter to remove a smaller inside area. Use leftover fondant from center area to cut out peace sign. Gently place outer loop and peace sign on top of cookie. Roll out all colors of fondant and use small daisy cutter to make flowers. Allow flowers to dry in former so they have a curved shaped. Use colored fondant to make centers for the daisies as well. Attach centers to daisies and daisies to cookies with small dots of piping gel.
