Supplies used:

white rolled fondant
lime green rolled fondant
orange rolled fondant
light blue rolled fondant
pale blue rolled fondant
Autumn Carpenter’s Mini Accent Cutter Set
Autumn Carpenter’s Jungle Cutie Cupcake Cutter Set
large round circle cutter
black non-pareils
piping gel
Mod Circle texture sheet

Instructions:

Roll white fondant to 1/4″ thickness, place fondant on Mod Circle texture sheet and roll with heavy pressure. Using the same cutter used to cut the cookies, cut out circles. Brush cookies with piping gel and lay on top of gel. Roll orange and lime green fondant very thin and cut small circles using mini accent cutter. Lay colored circles over the white circles of the cookie. Roll light blue fondant thin and cut elephant; apply to cookie with piping gel. Roll pale blue fondant very thin and cut using largest teardrop shape from accent cutter set. Apply to elephant with piping gel. Add black non-pareil for eye, attaching with piping gel.

Supplies used:

Autumn Carpenter’s Fluttering Friends Cutie Cupcake Cutter Set
Autumn Carpenter’s Mini Accent Cutter Set
red gum paste or rolled fondant
black gum paste or rolled fondant
piping gel
sharp paring knife or flexible poly blade
white non-pareils
2 ½” fluted round baked sugar cookies
grass tip
green buttercream icing
pastry bag

Instructions:

Roll gum paste or fondant very thin. If using a pasta machine, thin to a #3. Cut ladybugs out of both red and black gum paste or fondant. Use poly blade to cut between the head and body of both red and black pieces. Attach the black head to the red body using piping gel. Use the smallest circle accent cutter to cut black dots and attach to ladybug with piping gel. Place two dots of piping gel on the head and place white non-pareils for the eyes. Allow all pieces to harden overnite.
Using a pastry bag fitted with the grass tip, pipe grass on top of cookie. Be sure to make the grass a little thicker in the center. Slide hardened ladybug into the center of the cookie. If needed, pipe more grass in the back of the ladybug for support.

Supplies used:

Autumn Carpenter’s Jungle Cutie Cupcake Cutter Set
Autumn Carpenter’s Mini Accent Cutter Set
perfection strips
3 ¼” fluted square cookie cutter
lime green rolled fondant
turquoise rolled fondant
blue rolled fondant
light blue rolled fondant
black non-pareils
pastry brush
piping gel

Instructions:

Roll lime green fondant using black perfection strips. Cut fluted squares and attach to cookies brushed with piping gel.
Roll turquoise rolled fondant very thin and cut with elephant cutter. Attach to center of cookie with piping gel. Roll light blue fondant very thin, using the largest teardrop accent cutter, cut elephant ear and attach with piping gel. Place a dot of piping gel in front of the ear and push in a non-pareil for the eye.

Italian cross silicone mold

Instructions:
Color some of the run sugar icing pink. Fill parchment bags having medium-sized openings with white and pink icing. Be sure to cover openings with a damp cloth so not to dry out the icing. Outline cookies then fill in with icing. For oval cookie, leave 1/8″ around the diameter of the icing. Allow cookies to harden. Mold bows and cross using white rolled fondant. Fit parchment bag with tip #00, and fill with white icing. Outline the dress and give it details like lace around the neck, sleeves, and bottom, dots on the bodice, and ruffle indentations. Attach fondant bow to the waistline with a dab of icing. Fit another parchment bag with tip #00 and fill with pink icing. Make lace around the edge of hardened icing. Attach cross to cookie with a dab of icing.

Jungle Animal Cookies

*zebra cookie is made by cutting the giraffe cutter down in the neck
Icing Required: Prepare run sugar icing in the following colors: white, pink, yellow, orange, light orange, light green, green, light blue, blue, brown, ivory, black, and grey. Prepare royal icing in black.

Instructions:
Zebra Cookies: Outline and fill the zebra with white run sugar leaving the nose, mane, ears, and inside legs uniced. Allow to set completely. Add the inside legs. Allow to set completely. Pipe on the black stripes using black run sugar. Pipe the feet using black run sugar icing. Pipe the nose using grey run sugar icing. Allow to set. Pipe the inside of the ears using pink run sugar. Allow to set. Pipe the outside of the ears using black run sugar. Pipe the mane, nose, mouth, and eyes using black royal icing.
Giraffe Cookies: Outline and fill the giraffe with yellow run sugar leaving the nose, mane, ears, and inside legs uniced. Immediately add dots using light orange run sugar. Allow to set completely. Add the inside legs. Pipe the nose using white run sugar icing. Allow to set. Pipe the inside of the ears using pink run sugar. Allow to set. Pipe the outside of the ears using yellow run sugar. Pipe the mane using brown run sugar. Pipe the nose, mouth, and eyes using black royal icing. Pipe the ossicones (hones) using ivory run sugar icing.
Elephant Cookies: Outline and fill the elephant with blue run sugar leaving the inside legs uniced. Immediately add dots using white run sugar. Allow to set completely. Add the inside legs. Pipe the ears with light blue run sugar. Pipe the eye using black royal icing.
Alligator Cookies: Outline and fill the alligator with green run sugar leaving the inside legs uniced. Immediately add dots and the underside of his belly using light green run sugar. Allow to set completely. Add the inside legs. Pipe the eye using black royal icing. Pipe the teeth using white run sugar icing.
Lion Cookies: Outline and fill the lion’s body with light orange run sugar leaving scallop for the mane and inside legs uniced. Allow to set completely. Add the inside legs. Add the mane with orange run sugar. Allow to set. Pipe the face with light orange and white run sugar. Allow to set. Pipe the nose using brown run sugar icing. Pipe the mouth and eyes using black royal icing. Pipe the inside of the ears using pink run sugar. Allow to set. Pipe the outside of the ears using light orange run sugar.
Monkey Cookies: Outline and fill the monkey’s body with brown run sugar. Immediately add an ivory belly. Allow to set. Outline and fill the monkey’s head with brown run sugar. Immediately add an ivory face. Allow to set. Pipe the eyes, nose, and mouth using black royal icing. Pipe the inside of the ears using pink run sugar. Allow to set. Pipe the outside of the ears using brown run sugar.

Blue Bootie Cookies

Supplies used:
yellow candy coating
blue and green plaid chocolate transfer sheet
blue bootie royal icing decorations

Instructions:
Melt yellow candy coating. Reserve a small amount and pour in a parchment cone. Keep filled parchment cone in a heating pad to keep the candy coating from setting up. Dip sandwich cookies into the yellow candy coating. Place transfer sheet on dipped treat, textured side down. Allow to set. Peel back design. Attach royal icing booties with melted candy coating.

Bake and cool cookies.  Use run sugar icing to outline and quickly fill in cookie.  Allow icing to completely harden.  Use food coloring thinned with water to paint designs on cookies.  Use black food marker to draw outlines.

Bake and cool cookies. Roll pink, green, yellow and blue fondant thin and texture with the knit texture mat. Use the cookie cutter and pastry roller to cut out smooth and textured pieces. Attach to cookie with piping gel.   Use same colors of fondant to mold one bow of each color using fondant bow mold.  Dust bow with super pearl luster dust and attach to bootie with piping gel.

Pink and Fuchsia Baby Bodysuit Cookies

Pink and Fuchsia Baby Bodysuit Cookies

  •     baby bodysuit cookie cutter texture set
  •     light pink fondant
  •     medium pink fondant
  •     fuchsia fondant
  •     medium pink royal icing
  •     parchment cone or a pastry bag with a #1 tip
  •     silver luster dust
  •     lemon oil
  •     fine brush
  •     flower blossom plunger cutter set
  •     primrose cutter
  • Striped bodysuit: Lightly spray striped bodysuit texture mat from baby bodysuit cookie cutter texture set. Wipe off excess with a paper towel. Roll fuchsia fondant to approximately 1/8″ thickness. Place texture mat on fondant. Firmly roll over the mat. Remove mat. Cut textured fondant with cookie cutter from set. Attach to a baked and cool bodysuit cookie with piping gel or a thin layer of buttercream. Mix silver luster dust with a drop of lemon oil and use the fine brush to paint the buttons on the bodysuit. Use medium pink royal icing, thinned with a bit of water to pipe lines of dots on top of raised stripes and continuous lines just below each raised stripe. Roll fuchsia and light pink fondant very thin and cut a light pink primrose and a fuchsia small blossom. Make a two layer flowers by attaching the smaller flower inside the primrose with a dot of royal icing. Attach flower to cookie with royal icing.

    “Baby” bodysuit: Lightly spray “Baby” mat from baby onesie cookie cutter texture set. Wipe off excess with a paper towel. Roll medium pink fondant to approximately 1/8″ thickness. Place texture mat on fondant. Firmly roll over the mat. Remove mat. Cut textured fondant with cookie cutter from set. Attach to a baked and cool bodysuit cookie with piping gel or a thin layer of buttercream. Mix silver luster dust with a drop of lemon oil and use the fine brush to paint the buttons on the bodysuit.

    Mod circle bodysuit: Lightly spray mod circles mat from the baby bodysuit cookie cutter texture set. Wipe off excess with a paper towel. Roll light pink fondant to approximately 1/8″ thickness. Place texture mat on fondant. Firmly roll over the mat. Remove mat. Cut textured fondant with cookie cutter from set lining up dots so they run straight across bodysuit. Attach to a baked and cool onesie cookie with piping gel or a thin layer of buttercream. Roll fuchsia fondant very thin and cut out several small blossoms and tiny dots (piping tips work well). Attach flower blossoms to plain raised circles and tiny dots to raised dot centers.

    •     baby bodysuit cookie cutter texture set
    •     yellow fondant

    •     parchment cone or a pastry bag with a #1 tip

    •     gift bag
    •     tissue paper

    Lightly spray one texture mat from baby bodysuit cookie cutter texture set. Wipe off excess with a paper towel. Roll one color fondant to approximately 1/8″ thickness. Place texture mat on fondant. Firmly roll over the mat. Remove mat. Cut textured fondant with cookie cutter from set. Attach to a baked and cool bodysuit cookie (insert 11″ paper sucker stick into cookie before baking) with piping gel or a thin layer of buttercream. Repeat with all mats and different colors of fondant. Use yellow and orange fondant to hand mold duck. Attach to cookie with small dot if royal icing. Use dot of white royal icing to make eye on duck. Wrap candy clay in plastic wrap and place on bottom of gift bag. Insert sucker sticks into clay, breaking off sticks as necessary to create different heights in the bouquet. Fill remainder of gift bag with tissue paper.
