Pink and White Wedding Cookies

wedding cake cookie cutter texture set
heart cookie cutter texture set
dress cookie cutter texture set
white rolled fondant
light pink rolled fondant
pink rolled fondant
dark pink rolled fondant
super pearl dust
tip #1
silicone rose molds
silicone leaf mold
Icing required: Prepare royal icing in white.

Instructions:
Texture the white rolled fondant using the mats from the heart, wedding cake, and dress cookie cutter texture sets. Cut with the same cutter used in baking. Attach to the cookie with piping gel. Brush the fondant piece using super pearl dust. Make roses with shades of pink rolled fondant using silicone rose molds. Attach to the cookie with piping gel. Make leaves with white rolled fondant using the silicone leaf mold. Attach to the cookie with piping gel. Pipe dots on the cookies with white royal icing.

LOVE Cookies

To make cookies with the edible sheets, cut pieces of image large enough to accommodate desired size cookie cutter . Roll out fondant and brush lightly with piping gel. Lay image on top of rolled out fondant and lightly rub finger over image to smooth. Use cookie cutter to cut fondant (with edible image on top) and lay on top of cookie with piping gel. Using block letter cutter, cut letters out of fondant and place on top of fondant with piping gel.

  •     heart shaped cookies
  •     red, pink and white rolled fondant
  •     valentine sugar lay-ons
  •     red food marker
  •     pink royal icing
  •     buttercream icing

Roll out rolled fondant. Place swirl texture mat on top of fondant and roll over once with rolling pin. Remove texture mat and cut out heart shape using same cutter that was used when baking the cookies. Repeat with other colors of fondant and cookie cutter shapes. Attach fondant pieces to cookie by spreading a thin layer of buttercream on cookie. Attach royal icing layons and hearts with small dot of royal icing. Pipe small dots of royal icing around border of some cookies. Use red food marker to draw outline over “Love” and around scroll border.

Different shapes of hearts in various shades of pink have dainty details for a soft, sweet look.

  • Wilton Hearts Cookie Cutter Set
  • Royal Icing
  • Food Color in Shades of Pink
  • Parchment triangles or pastry bag and a #0 tip

Bake and cool heart cookies. With run sugar, outline and fill each cookie with various shades of pink run sugar. Allow pink to set. Pipe details on each cookie with various shades of pink run sugar using a #0 tip or with a very fine hole cut from a parchment cone.

Candy coating makes a deliciously sweet icing for your special valentine!

  • Wilton Hearts Cookie Cutter Set
  • White Candy Coating
  • Red Candy Coating
  • Pink Candy Coating
  • Parchment triangles
  • Pink, red and white sanding sugar

Bake and cool heart cookies. Melt each color of candy coating in separate bowls. Make parchment cones and spoon the melted candy coating into the cones. Outline and fill each cookie with the melted candy coating. Sprinkle on sanding sugar while the chocolate is still wet if desired. Allow to set. Pipe details on each cookie with details with a very fine hole cut from a parchment cone. Keep parchment cones filled with candy coating in a heating pad when not using to keep them fluid.

  • red food color
  • black food color
  • pastry bag and a #1, #2 and #3 tip
  • Black food color pen

Bake and cool heart cookies. With white run sugar, outline and fill each cookie. Allow to set overnight. Write messages on each cookie using the black fine point food color pen. Pipe details on each cookie with red and black run sugar using a #1 tip or with a very fine hole cut from a parchment cone.
